Profile is where you manage your personal information and how others on your team see you — your photo, name, role, and contact details.
Quick Start
- 1
Upload a photo (optional)
Without one, your initials are shown instead — automatically derived from your first and last name, or your email if those aren't set.
- 2
Fill in your personal information
First and last name are required; display name and bio are optional.
- 3
Add work and contact details
Job title, department, phone, location, and timezone — all optional, but useful context for teammates.
- 4
Save changes
Save changes stays disabled until you've actually changed something, so there's no risk of an accidental empty submit.

FormatsJPG, PNG, GIF, or WebP.Max size5MB.Your photo appears as soon as it uploads, and you can remove it at any time to fall back to your initials.

- Your display name and photo aren't just for your own profile — they show up wherever you're referenced as a member across the platform, including as Owner or Technical owner on datasets in the Catalog.
- Email can't be changed from this page — it's managed in account settings, since it's tied to how you sign in.
- Timezone affects how times are displayed to you across the platform, not just on this page.
