Getting Started
Quick Start
NNIPA connects, catalogs, analyzes, and digitizes your organization's data in one place. This page walks through the shortest path from a fresh account to your first result — and points to where to go deeper on each feature.
Five steps to get going
- 1
Connect your first data source
Upload a file, connect a database, set up CDC for real-time replication, or hit a REST/GraphQL API — pick whichever fits how your data currently lives.
- 2
Browse the Catalog
Every connected table shows up here automatically — searchable, filterable, and tagged with quality signals like how well-documented and tagged each dataset is.
- 3
Run a statistical analysis
Pick a table and columns, choose from seven analysis methods — descriptive stats, correlation, t-tests, regression, and more — and get results without writing a query.
- 4
Digitize a document
Register a model, upload a batch of documents, and let AI extract structured data — then review and approve before it's saved.
- 5
Invite your team
Add teammates under Organizations, assign them a role, and issue API keys for anything that needs programmatic access.
What you can do
Each of these is its own section in the docs — this is just the map.
Connect Data
Bring data in from files, databases, CDC streams, or APIs. Each connector walks you through picking a source and configuring the connection.
Manage Data
Once connected, data lands in the Catalog — searchable, taggable, and synced automatically. Metadata and Permissions live alongside it.
Analyze
Run statistical methods directly on your lakehouse tables — no separate tool required. Results come back as a job, so large tables don't block your browser.
Digitization
Extract structured data from documents with AI. Every extraction gets a confidence score, and anything uncertain gets flagged for human review before it's saved.
Administration
Manage your organization's profile, team members, roles and permissions, and API keys for programmatic access — all from one place.
- You don't have to connect data before exploring — the Catalog, Analyze, and Digitization sections all work the moment you have at least one table or document to point them at.
- Every organization starts with five built-in roles (owner, admin, analyst, viewer, member) — you can assign these right away without setting up custom permissions first.
- If you get stuck, each section's own Quick Start goes deeper than this page — this one is just the overview.
